ConcernedApe는 스타듀 밸리의 창시자이자 수석 개발자인 에릭 바론(Eric Barone)이자, 게임 개발을 지속하기 위해 설립한 회사 입니다. 2012년부터 2019년까지 1.3 버전의 멀티 플레이어 네트워킹을 제외한 게임 단독 개발자였으며 모든 아트, 음향 효과 및 음악을 만들었습니다. 현재 워싱턴 주 시애틀에 거주하고 있습니다.

2019년 초 ConcernedApe는 게임 업데이트를 계속하기 위해 소규모 개발팀을 구성하였습니다. 1.4 버전 업데이트는 ConceredApe, 아서 리(Arthur Lee, 일명 Mr.Podunkian), 알렉스 얼랜드슨(Alex Erlandson, 일명 zillix)이 참여했습니다. 1.5 버전 업데이트는 ConcernedApe와 아서 리(Arthur Lee)가 참여했습니다.
