엘리엇이 플레이어를 맞이해 주고, 자신이 작가가 되려고 펠리컨 타운에 왔는데 고향 사람들은 아무도 그가 성공할 거라는 것을 믿지 않았다는 이야기를 한다. 엘리엇이 당신에게 어떤 장르의 소설을 좋아하냐고 물어보는데, 미스터리, 로맨스, SF 중에서 선택할 수 있다; 어떤 선택지를 골라도 호감도 30이 오른다. 엘리엇은 플레이어가 선택한 것을 기억해두겠다고 하고, 자신이 키우는 장미가 시들 것 같다면서 플레이어에게 좀 봐달라고 부탁한다.

거스가 플레이어에게 주문을 받겠다고 한다. 플레이어의 주문을 받기 전에 엘리엇이 주점 안으로 들어오더니 여기서 널 만나서 기쁘다고 말한다. 8시간 동안 글을 쓴 후 쉬려고 여기 왔다면서 자신과 플레이어가 마실 에일 두 잔을 주문한다. 플레이어 캐릭터가 여성인 경우 플레이어가 마실 것으로 와인을 주문한다. 엘리엇이 술을 마시기 전에 플레이어가 건배할 것을 제안한다. 4가지 다른 건배사 중 하나를 고를 수 있다: "펠리컨 타운을 위하여!" 세부사항
플레이어가 토끼발 아이템을 소지하고 있을 경우, 상냥한 분위기 속에서 당구 경기가 진행되는 컷신이 나타납니다. 만약 플레이어가 토끼발이 없는 상태라면, 미혼 남성 후보자들이 모두와 데이트를 즐기는 플레이어에 대해 분노를 표합니다. 플레이어가 그 어떤 대화 선택지를 골라도 미혼 남성 후보자들은 “무시”하기로 결정하며 일주일간 지속됩니다. 그들은 매번 대화를 시도할 때마다 화를 내며 모든 선물을 거절합니다. 일주일 후에는 모든 미혼 남성 후보자들이 플레이어를 용서해주는데 대화도 평상시로 돌아갑니다.

이 이벤트는 세이브 파일 당 1번씩만 발생됩니다. 만약 플레이어가 이미 결혼 한 상태거나 결혼 후보자 중 한명에게 시들은 부케나 인어의 펜던트를 주었다면 발생하지 않습니다.
